Bobby Dean Bishop “Bob”, age 82, passed away on November 27, 2016 of natural causes.

Bob was born on May 9, 1934 in Mohrland, Utah to Robert Bishop and Clara Christensen.  He was the youngest of 11 children.

Bob married Deone Oviatt in 1952, later divorced.  He married Sandra Blanchard in 1969, later divorced.  Married Peggy Johnson in 1985.

Bob spent most of his career as a coal miner and retired as a State Mine Inspector for which he received many awards.  Bob’s passions included gardening, mechanics, tinkering in his yard and garden.  Bob will remain in our hearts always.  We love you dad.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rick Stockburger at Symbii for his devotion and friendship to our dad.

Bob has six children, Greg Bishop, Nanette Richardson, Jeff Bishop, Barbara (Don) Goetz, Shelly Bishop and Kelly (Chago) Leal.  He has 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; special companion, Irene Kokal.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; 9 siblings; his beloved wife, Peggy; eldest son, Greg.

Funeral service, Saturday, December 3, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell’s Saturday one hour prior to service.  Interment, Price City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
