Mitt Romney will headline the Carbon County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner March 24 at Utah State University Eastern. Tickets are going fast with sales limited to the first 300 individuals.

“Demand for this event is bigger than anything we have done in the past,” said Greg Dart, vice chair of the Carbon County Republican Party. “This may end up being a very hard ticket to get.”

While Romney will be the featured speaker, others include candidates for statewide office and elected officials including Congressman John Curtis. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center.

The menu includes prime rib or herb-crusted tilapia, sides and dessert. Also, at the event will be photo opportunities with Mitt Romney, a prize raffle and meet and greet with candidates.

Cost is $20 per ticket or $35 per pair. Seating is limited to 300, and nearly half the tickets have already been sold. Tickets can be purchased by calling Kendra Seeley at 435-630-7581.
