Donald Curtis Huitt passed away in the arms of his wife, Joy Ann Huitt, June 25, 2018 at age 83. He was born July 22, 1934 in Miller Creek, Utah to Curtis and Dorothea Huitt. Don married Joy Ann Coggins in Orem, Utah, December 16, 1954 and together they had 8 children.

Don honorably served his country in the Korean War as a navel frog man. He spent 20 years working at Kaiser Steel. Red loved spending time with his family and friends at his cabin in Scofield, “what happens at the cabin,
stays at the cabin.”

He is survived by his wife, Joy Ann; children, Brent Huitt, Dorothea (Jim) Peak, Denise (Richard) Abeyta, John (Sarah) Huitt, Curtis (Victoria) Huitt, Edith (Chuck) Levy; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; children, Joan Michelle Huitt and Robert Dale Huitt.

Funeral service, Saturday, June 30, 2018 – 1:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) Price, Utah. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Mitchell’s. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery. Arrangements
