The Price City International Days Doubles Horseshoe Tournament will take place on Saturday, July 28 at Washington Park.

The annual tournament marks one the biggest in the Castle Country area, and will feature a payout reward for the top three teams. The cost to play is $20.00 per team, and those participating must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Working in conjunction with International Days, Carbon Recreation has put on the tournament for years, making it a tradition during the weekend celebration. The reputation of tournament helps bring out huge numbers for participation.

“We’ve been doing this particular tournament for as long as I can remember,” said event organizer Rochelle Badback. “It seems like every year this tournament gets bigger and bigger. Last year we had roughly 25 teams.”

This year’s tournament will once again feature a doubles format, subtracting the singles competition from the event.
