The annual Orangeville Days celebration will take place on Thursday, July 18 through Saturday, July 21 at the city park under the theme Those Were The Days.  Events started on Thursday evening with a trap shoot competition, bike rodeo, home run derby, as well as an ice cream social followed by a movie in the park. If individuals missed out on Thursday’s events no need to worry Friday and Saturday are crammed with lots of events.

Friday evening features the annual delicious Lamb Fry at the city park starting at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the cost is $7.00 per plate. A pie auction will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by a horseshoe tournament at 6:00 pm and live entertainment from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Saturday events will start bright and early with the 5K Fun Run registration at 5:30 am and the race set to start at 6:00 am. Guests can enjoy a breakfast at the park beginning at 7:00 am by the LDS Third Ward before the annual parade on Main Street at 10:00 am. There will be several games, bounce houses, duck races, slip n’ slide, foam pit and live entertainment for guests to enjoy until 3:00 pm. There will be an ATV Poker Ride at 2:00 pm and participants are asked to meet at the park. The community youth theatre will put on a program at 3:00 pm. Orangeville Days would not be complete without closing out the town’s celebration with a beautiful fireworks display.
