PRICE – Utah State Eastern men’s soccer defeated the Colorado Northwest Spartans 9-0 on Thursday at home.

It was the highest scoring game of the season the Eagles with four different Eagles scoring goals.

Sophomore Tyler Malan scored two goals in a two minute span after 15 minutes into the game. Jojea Kwizera assisted Malan on both goals.

Freshman Spencer Anderson was the leading scorer for the Eagles after putting up three goals on the Spartans including two in the second half.

Eagles’ leading scorer Frank DeBry scored two goals against CNCC on five shots.

Freshman Brendan Nichol and Yves Govina scored the other two goals for the Eagles, both coming in the final minutes of the game.

Thursday’s win was the third win of the season over the Spartans and the fourth in conference for USU Eastern.

The Eagles will wrap up their regular season on Friday with a home game against #14 Salt Lake Community College at 4 p.m.
