Kathy is the daughter of John Ethelburr Smith and Harriet Bass Smith who was born on May 14, 1943 in Price, Utah. She passed away April 1, 2019 in Murray, Utah.

Kathy grew up in Price, Utah before moving to Green River, Utah and then to Southern California where she lived for many years. She moved back to Price, Utah in 1983 where she and her husband Jerome “Jerry” Smith owned and operated the Arrow Club in Price. Kathy then retired and sold the Arrow Club in 2005. In 2009 she moved to Pahrump, Nevada where she married Vernon Hall. After Vernon’s death Kathy moved to West Valley City, Utah to be near family and lived until she went into the Cottage on Vine Care Center in Murray, Utah, where she passed away after being there for almost 3 months.

The family would like to take the opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at the Cottage on Vine Care Center for their love and constant care while she resided there. Each and every employee are truly amazing!! Kathy loved her dog Theadora “Teddy” and singing in the Catholic Church Choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband’s Jerome “Jerry” Smith and Vernon Hall, parents John Ethelburr Smith and Harriet Bass Smith, her brothers Jim (Sandy) Smith, John (Carol) Smith, Sid (Diana) Smith and William Walter Smith. Kathy is survived by her brother Craig Smith and sister Eva (Bill) Brinley; many nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. where there will be a viewing one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery in Price, Utah.
