James LeRoy Jensen, age 79, of Washington, Utah at Winter Haven passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019.

James was the son of Barney and Jane Jensen. He had various jobs throughout his life, working at Sperry Univac for 14 years and for 26 years at Deer Creek Coal Mine before retiring.

He married the love of his life Karen LuAnn Cramer on July 3, 1959 in Elmo, Utah. Their marriage was later sealed in the Manti Temple on February 14, 1996. They were blessed with three daughters, Brenda (Keith) Twitchell, Payson, Sherry Mortensen, Grand Junction, CO., Sharon Lemmings, Ferron; two sons-in-law, Cardell Mortensen, Mesquite, NV, Bret Rasmussen, Huntington; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Survived by two sisters, Bonnie Bezzant, Orem, Linda (Tom) Roush, Huntington.

Preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and one granddaughter.

For the last 18 years he has shared his time in Huntington and Washington, Utah. James has many dear friends in Huntington and Winter Haven. He will be missed by all.

Graveside service, Thursday, April 18, 2019, 12:00 noon, Cleveland Town Cemetery.
