Our precious daughter, sister and sweet spirit, Cheryl Lee Hess, 63, passed away July 29, 2019 at Pinnacle Care Center in Price.

She was born September 19, 1955 in Logan, Utah and was later adopted by three loving sets of parents, William and Barbara Sessions (deceased), Horacio and Sencion Alcon (deceased) and Daniel and Ramona Valdez.

Our special child brought great joy and happiness to everyone. Candy could brighten anyone’s day with her big smile and warm heart. She loved pets, coloring, dancing, music and especially Michael Jackson. Candy will be dearly missed by her loving family and a community of friends.

She is survived by her parents, Ramona and Dan Valdez, Price; her brothers and sisters, Dorothy Dunbar, Anchorage, AK, Jim Valdez, Price, Naomi Montoya, Salt Lake City, Jessie Alcon, Price, Lavette Cruz, Fabian Alcon, both of Salt Lake City, Shane Alcon, Price; many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and beloved cousins.

Candy was preceded in by her parents, William and Barbara Sessions and Horacio and Sencion Alcon; siblings, Anita Alcon, Elaine Sandoval and Harold Valdez.

Funeral service, Saturday, August 3, 2019, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
