Etova Wilstead Snow, age 81, passed away at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo on September 9, 2019, surrounded by her family.

She was born October 15, 1937 in Cleveland, Utah to Samuel Dodd and Mary Clarissa Allred Wilstead. Married John C. Snow, September 4, 1976 in Elko, Nevada; he preceded her in death on September 1, 2002.

Etova was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many church callings. At the time of her passing she was serving a mission at the Manti Temple where she served faithfully for 13 years. Etova enjoyed singing in the choir and indexing for the church. Etova was very talented and loved sewing her own quilt tops and she quilted over 300 quilts. When it came to putting colors together, she was a master mind. Etova was a lifelong resident of Emery County, she worked as an EMT for 19 years and played an active role in the Emery County Chamber of Commerce. Etova touched the lives of many and she will be dearly missed by her family and a community of friends.

Etova is survived by her siblings, Seretia (Sharpe) Snow, Russell L. (Denise) Wilstead; children, Bret Morgan, Pam Shepard and Kevin Morgan; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, John C. Snow, brothers, Dodd N. (Connie) and Lynden (Reta) Wilstead.

Funeral service, Saturday, September 14, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the Castle Dale Stake Center. Family will receive friends at the church Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Castle Dale City Cemetery.
