Price City announced via their Facebook page that they would be close the city offices immediately due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Castle Country Radio was able to speak on the telephone with Community Director, Nick Tatton about the decision.

“Price City in the interest of safety of our employees and safety of the public all of the city facilities are closed to the public. City services are still going on, you know if a waterline breaks, the water crew is going to be out there fixing it,” stated Tatton. The city is doing its best to accommodate residents during this difficult time.

Any residents that are struggling to pay utility bills can contact the Utility Office for assistance. “Please do speak with our utility folks and if you’re experiencing current difficulty because of coronavirus, everybody’s a little more receptive to working out some arrangements with folks right now,” explained Tatton. Utility questions can be directed to their office at (435) 636-3197 and payments can be made online at www.xpressbillpay.com

Tatton ended things by recognizing the community, “Our communities in this area always pull together and we’re proud of them and it’s been over said a million times on every tv channel, we’re in it together and we’re doing our best to help everyone maintain services.”
