Rocky Mountain Homecare and Hospice would like to invite the community to participate in their 1st Annual Angel Babies Walk on Saturday, March 12th at 1:00 pm at the Helper Parkway Pavilion.
This event is for families and friends who have lost a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, infertility and other life limiting conditions. “This is our remembrance walk for all the angel babies and its going to be a big deal; the community has come together for this,” said Alison Marrelli, a Medical Social Worker/Event Organizer.
Participants of all ages from adults, children and infant will be able to purchase an event t-shirt the day of the event. “We will have the t-shirts available that say touched by an Angel Baby, if you want to still order a custom shirt the day of the event, that’s fine, you just won’t have it for the day. But you can defiantly have it for a keepsake to commemorate your baby,” said Marrelli. Customization will allow purchasers to put a child’s name on the t-shirt.
T-shirts will be available in baby blue, pink and white for $15.00 each. “Proceeds from the t-shirts are going into a fund that’s being managed by the United Way to help families who have experienced child loss pay for those final expenses,” stated Marrelli.
The t-shirts were designed by Amber Spark owner and operator of C&E Custom Tees.
