The Emery County Historical Society would like to invite the public to come and discover the Legends of the Mines, Miners and Families Memorialized by the Carbon County Miner’s Memorial on Thursday, March 24th at 6:30 pm at the Museum of the San Rafael located at 70 North 100 East in Castle Dale.

Featured speaker for the evening will be local researcher and historian, Kathy Hamaker.

The group gets together once a month in a public forum to discuss or listen to someone presenting an aspect of history about the county. In the spring and summer months the group hosts hands-on outings to go out to learn and explore the county.

The cost for the events is the price of annual dues which is $5.00 per person; the proceeds help to sponsor future events for the society.
