Margaret Ruth Cormani Robertson Christman, age 96, passed away peacefully March 25, 2016 in Price.

She was the only daughter of Robert Cormani, Sr. and Mary Gianini who was born in Helper, Utah on December 6, 1919.  Married Lee Robertson, July 9, 1939 in Farmington, Utah; he preceded her in death on December 13, 1985.  On February 27, 1988, she married Max Christman in Price; he also preceded her in death on October 13, 2003.

Margaret lived a good and full life.  She was a longtime resident of Carbon County who enjoyed working alongside her family on the farm.  She was an excellent cook who enjoyed cooking for many people on the farm.  She also worked as a nurse for many years and for the Utah State Tax Commission prior to her retirement. She loved traveling and snow birding in Arizona with her husband’s.  Margaret was an avid fisherman who enjoyed many trips to Lake Powell, Flaming Gorge, as well as her local favorite, Pete’s Hole.  She touched the lives of many and her generosity will never be forgotten.

The family would like to thank the staff  at Heirloom Inn for the time she spent there, Parkdale Care Center for the past four years and also a special thanks to Dr. Sterling G. Potter.

Margaret is survived by one daughter and two sons, Karen (Dan) Seat, Salt Lake City, Jim (Starla) Robertson, Price, Bob (Linda) Robertson, Mesquite, NV;  step-children, Gary (Judy) Christman, Wellington, Sharon Christman, Orem; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Lee and Max; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald G. (Karen) Robertson; granddaughter, Bonnie Jean Robertson; and her only brother, Robert Cormani, Jr.

Graveside service, Saturday, April 2, 2016, 12:00 noon, Price City Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price Saturday from 11:00-11:45 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Margaret online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
