Robert M. McKinnon, age 73, passed away April 10, 2016 at Pinnacle Care & Rehab.

He was born May 31, 1942 in Price, Utah to Robert Francis and Donna Mae Sherfick McKinnon.  Married Babbett Tucker in Price, Utah.  She passed away November 16, 1995.

Robert was a lifelong resident of Carbon County whose most memorable times were shared while ranching in Hiawatha.  He was a tireless worker who was employed at U.S. Fuel in Hiawatha.  Robert was passionate about music, art, singing, dancing, horseback riding and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survived by two sisters, Janis (Bob) Gitlin, Susan (Ramon) Madrid, both of Price; one niece, six nephews and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Babbett; and his infant brother, John McKinnon.

Funeral service Friday, April 15, 2016, 12:00 noon, Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price.   Family will be at Mitchell’s one half hour prior to service.
