The Carbon Lady Dinos will continue the golf season today as they travel to the Skyline resort, the home course for the North Sanpete Hawks.

As it stands right now the Lady Dinos are in third place in the Region 12 standings, trailing North Sanpete by just a few points. Last week the Lady Dinos played 18 holes of Region 12 golf at Soldier Hollow in Midway, the home of this year’s state tournament, finishing second on the front nine and third on the back.

With each of the five region team’s playing 18 holes instead of the traditional nine, the front and back nines were divided into two separate competitions. Juab easily handled the front nine scoring 125 points in the Modified Stableford system. Carbon finished in second with 88 points, North Sanpete in third with 86. Canyon View finished fourth, just ahead of last place Richfield.

Today’s golf meet is scheduled to begin at noon.
