The PRCA Rodeo will be promoting their rodeo to be held in Moab the following weekend on Thursday, June 2 through Saturday, June 4 by entertaining children with Pony Rides on Saturday at the festival.

The park will be filled with live music throughout the two-day event on one of the two stages. “They’ll have Grassroots Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre coming to the park, again that free at 4 o’clock both days. They’re going to be doing Twelfth Night and Anthony and Cleopatra. It’s just a whole bunch of different things,” stated King.

There will be tons of food vendors serving quesadillas, gourmet tacos, wood fired pizza, corn on the cob, ice cream, burgers, cotton candy. There will definitely be something for everyone to enjoy.

“This is an art festival where the artists have to be in presence and residents, so you get to go walk around and talk to each individual artist about their own work,” said King. Visitors will be able to purchase items from various vendors in the park such as clothing, fine art, photography, pottery, wood sculptures, all types of paintings and jewelry.

King finished with, “If people need more information they’re welcomed to call (435) 259-2742 or they can go to the website and download the program, we have the entire newspaper online at moabartsfestival.org”
