Free IT Open House on June 16, 2016 at the Business and Technical Assistance Center (BTAC) located 375 South Carbon Avenue, Price, Utah 84501 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.  

Accelerant and Carbon County Economic Development Director, Tami Ursenbach are hosting a Free Open House to discuss the exciting new IT opportunities coming to our community.  Learn about a new networking group, IT classes, and the prospect to work in the IT field with large corporations. They are looking to virtually hire skilled individuals from Carbon and Emery Counties.

Come prepared to apply for one of the 20 scholarships from Panada Labs.  The course will include introduction to coding, web design, and business.  This is a 12 week course that will be held virtually in Price.  Advance your career and take part of a great job experience.   Tomorrow’s future in Carbon/Emery County starts with the knowledge you will gain from attending this course.

You will be able to network with other IT people at the open house. If you are looking for a career change, bring your resume to apply with one of the large companies, learn about a road trip with a large company and available training.

Joel Smith and Dean Lundberg, co-founded Accelerant Business Solutions Provider in 2014.  They have come to recognize the important role rural county’s play in the economy, and the tremendous resource that is in rural Utah. Accelerant is working to build a network of physical opportunity hubs within Utah, starting in Price.  Lean to use ultra-high speed data and virtualization tools for the purpose of business facilitations, job creation and education.  Exciting changes are happening to strengthen and diversify Carbon County.
