Our loving husband, father, brother and Papa, Jack Bonaquisto, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 9, 2016, surrounded by his family.
He was born to Nick J. and Margaret (Fratto) Bonaquisto on June 14, 1948 in Price, Utah.
Jack grew up in Sunnyside, Utah and attended Peterson Elementary and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1966. He later attended CEU and graduated from Weber State University in 1970. Jack’s career included Union Carbide, Utah Power & Light, Pacific Basin, Oxbow Resources and then established his own company, JTC2 in 2004. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol Crissman, on June 5, 1971. They had two children, Tara and Christopher. Jack was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being outdoors and could often be found on the banks of Scofield. He was a passionate New York Yankees, Indianapolis Colts, Notre Dame and Utah Utes fan and rarely missed a game. Jack was always willing to help anyone at anytime but made sure he taught a lesson along the way. He shared many of these “life lessons” with family & friends throughout the years. Jack’s dedication and love shown to his family will forever be missed. He certainly lived life “his way”.
Survived by his loving wife, Carol; daughter, Tara (Jeremy) Jewkes; son, Christopher (Alexandria) Bonaquisto; grandchildren: Josie, Olivia, Sophie, Gabriella and Joseph; sisters, Lucille Compton and Ann (Dale) Evans; and his many nieces and nephews. Jack’s grandchildren will certainly miss their “Papa” and his family will forever hold him in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents and special nephew Anthony Compton.
