Leah Kaye Kropf, age 53, passed away August 3, 2016 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born November 14, 1962 in Murray, Utah to Myron G. and Carolyn “Kitty” Chapman Kropf.

Leah was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many capacities. She was a longtime resident of Huntington and a graduate of Emery High School Class of 1981. After graduating from the College of Eastern Utah she went to work at LDS Business College in Salt Lake. She eventually returned to C.E.U. where she worked as a secretary and was held in highest regards with her colleagues, professors and students. Leah warmed the hearts of everyone and made many friends while employed at the college for the past seventeen years.

Leah loved everyone and she had an unbelievable collection of Teddy Bears. Often times she would refer to her shopping adventures as a “Bear Hunt”. Leah was always in search of her next prized collectable so she could make things a little more “Bearable”. Her generosity and kind deeds will be sorely missed by all.

Survived by her parents, Myron & Kitty Kropf, Huntington; brother, Robert & Toni Kropf, West Valley; nieces and nephews, Steven, Kim, Tiffany, Mandy and Cody; grandnephews and niece, Shalice, Jason and James; special friend and the sister she never had, Lori Ann Larsen, Huntington; aunt and uncles, Myrna Lee (Allen) White, Sandy, UT, Ronald Chapman, Gig Harbor, WA, Donald Chapman, Taylorsville, UT; and many loving cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted & Lena Chapman, Charles and Mary Kropf.
