The United Way of Eastern Utah will be hosting an All You Can Eat Barbeque on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Washington Park Pavilion located at 150 East 450 North in Price. The cost for the event is $6.00 per person, $4.00 for kids under 12 years of age.
“This is a two-fold thing, number one it helps funding for all of our programs, Day of Caring, Angel Tree, but it is also another way of us to tell the community thank you for helping us throughout the year,” said Carole Wright, Director of United Way of Eastern Utah. “Just as a side note it is also a great way to come meet our Board of Directors, they will all be there serving. If you have any concerns, questions, anything you would like for us to focus on, it would be a great time to bring them those thoughts and ideas.”
The money raised from this event will go to help assist all programs offered through United Way, such as Day of Caring, Angel Tree, Live.Love.Local Cancer Assistance Program, Soles2Souls Shoe Program, Scholarship Fund and Community Cares.
There will be to-go containers for guests that are not able to stay and eat at the park. “We are going to have ribs, chicken and pulled pork, corn on the cob, chips, salad, drink – all you can eat for $6.00 for an adult, $4.00 for children,” stated Wright. The children will be able to work off their delicious lunch on the inflatable bouncers provided by Den and Jen.
If you are unable to attend the Barbeque but would like to make a donation, please contact the United Way office at 435-637-8911.
