Misty Dawn Cowan Skaggs, age 38, passed away suddenly on August 27, 2016.

She was born January 12, 1978 in Ogden, Utah to Jerel “Jerry” Byrnell and Deborah Green Cowan.

Married William R. Skaggs, Jr. “Billy” on April 5, 1997 in Price, Utah.

Misty was a graduate of Carbon High class of 1996.  She enjoyed visiting with people and was currently employed at the Utah State University Eastern Campus.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by her husband, Bill Skaggs; children, Alex, Zack, Mercedes and Jake Skaggs, all of Spring Glen; mother, Deborah Cowan, Ogden; sister, Shawnbre Cowan, Ogden.

Preceded in death by her father, Jerel “Jerry” Cowan; grandparents, Byrnell and Ramona Cowan, Elmer and Lorna S. Green.

Funeral service, Thursday, September 1, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) Price.  Family will receive friends on Thursday at Mitchell’s one hour prior to service.  Interement, Cliffview Cemetery in Price.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Misty Dawn online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
