ABAJO MOUNTAINS: (September 16) Fishing is good for northern pike and bass — especially if you use weedless swimbaits in shallow, weedy areas. Blanding No. 4 was stocked with tiger trout on Aug. 22.

BENCHES POND: (September 16) Fishing is good on many of the lakes along Skyline Drive in the Manti-La Sal National Forest — including Benches Pond. Fishing is best in the morning and evening. During the past three weeks, Benches Pond andseveral other waters in the area were stocked with rainbow trout.

BLUE LAKE: (May 26) The pond will be inaccessible until June or July.

BOULGER RESERVOIR: (September 16) Fishing is good on many of the lakes along Skyline Drive in the Manti-La Sal National Forest — including Benches Pond. Fishing is best in the morning and evening. During the past three weeks, Benches Pond and several other waters in the area were stocked with rainbow trout.

CARBON COUNTY COMMUNITY FISHING POND: (September 16) Fishing is good for rainbow trout and bluegill with nightcrawlers and PowerBait. The pond was stocked with wiper on May 12 and with rainbow trout on Aug. 10.

CLEVELAND RESERVOIR: (September 16) Fishing is fair to good at Cleveland, depending on the time of day. Try using worms or green PowerBait. The reservoir was last stocked with rainbow trout on July 13.

COLORADO RIVER: (September 16) Fishing is good. For catfish, try using various stinkbaits — especially chicken livers — in the Colorado River.

DUCK FORK RESERVOIR: (September 16) Fishing is best from a kick boat near the dam and the tributary flows. Try using dry flies for cutthroat, and scuds with sink-tip line for tiger trout. This reservoir was last stocked with tiger trout on Aug. 24 and with cutthroat on July 19.

ELECTRIC LAKE: (September 16) Fishing is good. Cutthroat trout are taking most baits, but especially shiners. Occasionally, the larger tiger trout are responding to trolling spoons along the rocky shorelines. Tiger trout were stocked here last on June 15.

EMERALD LAKE: (May 26) This pond is inaccessible.

FERRON RESERVOIR: (September 16) Bait fishing is good. Cutthroat and brook trout are striking beaded streamers. Ferron was last stocked with cutthroat on July 19 and with rainbows on June 13.

GIGLIOTTI POND: (September 16) Fishing is good during the day and great at dusk. Rainbow trout are easy to catch here using worms or PowerBait. Bass are responding to spinners and bluegill-imitation lures. The pond was last stocked with rainbow trout Aug. 30.

GOOSEBERRY RESERVOIR: (September 16) Fishing is fair. Try using standard baits, like PowerBait or nightcrawlers in combination with salmon eggs. Gooseberry was stocked with 1,200 11-inch rainbow trout on Aug. 3.

GRASSY LAKE: (September 16) Fishing is good. Most standard baits work well — especially worms. The lake was stocked with tiger trout on Aug. 8 and with rainbow trout on Aug. 1.

HUNTINGTON CREEK: (September 16) Fishing is good in the stretch just below Electric Lake — especially at dusk. Brown trout are responding well to streamers. The creek was stocked with cutthroat trout on July 19.

HUNTINGTON GAME FARM POND: (September 16) Fishing is good. Try fishing within a mile of the dam where brown trout are responding well to fly fishing. Some of the better fly methods right now are prince nymphs, caddis larvae, leeches, stone flies and wooly buggers. The pond was stocked with more than 530 11-inch rainbows on Aug. 30.

HUNTINGTON NORTH RESERVOIR: (September 16) Fishing is good. Bluegill and rainbow trout are responding well to mayflies and midges. This water was stocked with wiper on July 6.

HUNTINGTON RESERVOIR: (September 16) Standard baits have produced mixed results throughout the day, but tiger trout are hitting crickets occasionally. The reservoir was stocked with 10,000 young tiger trout on June 15.

JOES VALLEY RESERVOIR: (September 16) Fishing for tiger muskies is fair. Try using crankbaits and top water plugs.

KNIGHT-IDEAL COMMUNITY FISHING POND: (September 16) Fishing is good. Standard bait fishing is working well for rainbow trout. This pond was stocked three times in the month of August with more than 2,500 rainbows that are 10 inches or bigger.

LA SAL MOUNTAINS: (September 16) Fishing is hit-and-miss with standard baits, but spinners are working well. Try using a silver Jake’s Spin-O-Lure with red dots.

LOWER GREEN RIVER: (September 16) Standard baits are working well for catfish, but especially stinkbaits and nightcrawlers.

MILLER FLAT RESERVOIR: (September 16) Fishing is good. Try using nightcrawlers, PowerBait or spinners. Miller Flat Reservoir was stocked with about 20,000 rainbow trout in June.

PETES HOLE: (September 16) Fishing fair to good during the day, and best at dusk. This water body was stocked more than 4,000 tiger trout on Aug. 8 and with 600 rainbow trout on Aug. 1.

POTTERS PONDS: (September 16) Fishing is good. Try using PowerBait, worms or spinners. Both ponds were stocked with rainbow trout on Aug. 8.

PRICE RIVER: (September 16) Fishing is fair. Try using streamers or other common flies. The Price River, including lower Fish Creek, was stocked with more than 25,000 brown trout in June.

SCOFIELD RESERVOIR: (September 16) Scofield Reservoir has reopened to boating and fishing. Chub were the primary species impacted by the algae, but some of the larger chub likely survived. Try using PowerBait, nightcrawlers and spinners for chub and trout. Be sure to clean your catch with water that is safe to drink.

SOUP BOWL: (September 16) Fishing is good. Try using spoons or other lures with sink-tip line. The Reservoir was stocked with tiger trout on Aug. 8 and with rainbows on Aug. 1.

WILLOW LAKE: (September 16) Fishing is good. Dusk is the best time to fish. For rainbow and tiger trout, try using black leeches or renegades. The lake was stocked with 1,000 11-inch rainbow trout on Aug. 4 and about 3,000 tiger trout on July 27.

WRIGLEY SPRINGS RESERVOIR: (September 16) Fishing is good. Silver Kastmaster lures and gold spoons have been more effective than PowerBait, but anglers have caught rainbow and tiger trout with a variety of combinations. This reservoir was last stocked on Aug. 4 with about 800 11-inch rainbow trout.
