Evelyn Marlene Doty Brandon, 72, of East Carbon, Utah passed away in her home on October 1, 2016.
Evelyn was born in Sunnyside, Utah on February 8, 1944.
She loved her pets, Toby, Pixie and Phebe. She loved everybody’s pets. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn enjoyed natures beauty like many of the spectacular views found locally, yet she found no less beauty in her yard. She enjoyed Joe’s Valley, the cedars, but most of all, she loved all the rides and picnics in the desert with her family.
Evelyn and Dennie married young. She finished her GED and later attended the College of Eastern Utah to obtain a degree in nursing. She and Dennie worked with numerous foster children. She had a compassion for helping people less fortunate than herself.
She is survived by her husband Dennie Brandon; two brothers, Marvin Doty, wife Ann of Boise ID, Robert Doty of Seattle, WA, two sisters Betty Arbon, husband Norm of Parker, CO, Marilyn Schockenmeyer of Price, UT, daughter Lori Vendetti, husband Joe of Green River, WY, two sons Alan Brandon, partner Duane of Seattle, WA, Chad Brandon, wife Tiffany of Midlothian, TX, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
