The annual USU Eastern Business Conference entitled “Entrepreneurial Mindset” will take place on Friday, November 4, beginning with registration at 7:30 am. Conference will begin at till 8:00 am and run till 2:00 pm inside the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center Multipurpose Room. The cost to attend the conference is $50 per person, includes breakfast, refreshments and lunch. There will be several premiere keynote speakers, in-depth breakout sessions, business innovation, networking and so much more.
One of the premiere keynote speakers is Bryan Miller, Author of “Behind the Drive: 99 Inspiring Stories from the Life of an American Entrepreneur,” which was written in honor his father, Larry J. Miller. Miller formed Miller Inspiration in 2013 which is a professional training personal development company. His organization promotes company culture, as well as professional training and personal development using the lives, lessons and principles of his parents and the multi-billion-dollar corporation they founded. Today Bryan serves on the board of directors for the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies.
The other premiere keynote speaker is Mike Turner, Chairman of Utah Honor Flight. The unique entrepreneurship of a highly successful non-profit organization solely run on donations. It is dedicated to providing veterans with honor and closure by visiting Washington D.C. to see the memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifices. Priority for the organization at this time is for World War II or terminally ill veterans. A portion of conference registration fees will go to the Utah Honor Flight organization.
