Our loving husband, brother, uncle and friend, Frank Crocco, age 85, passed away peacefully November 16, 2016 while surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 31, 1931 in Kenilworth, Utah to John and Nannetta “Annie” Amantea Crocco.
Frank spent most of his life in Carbon County. He served in the United State Marine Corps, and retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant after 30 years of service. During Frank’s years of military service, he won several national awards for his culinary skills, as well as awards for many other accomplishments. Frank married Joan C. Sheffield on December 13, 1975 in Annandale, Virginia. They were happily married for 41 years.
Survived by his loving wife, Joan Crocco, Carbonville; brother, Eugene (Gaylene) Crocco, Price; sister, Janet Barbiero, Tooele; 3 brothers-in-law, Ron, Don and Sonny Sheffield; many loving nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Guy, Johnnie, Mario and Bill Crocco; sister, Katherine; nephew, Gene Crocco; niece, Melissa Hortman; and brother-in-law, Gene Barbiero.
Funeral Mass, Monday, November 21, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service, Sunday evening 7:30 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Sunday and Monday one hour prior to services. Committal, Price City Cemetery, Price.
