CARBON COUNTY COMMUNITY FISHING POND: (November 16) Try using worms or PowerBait for catching rainbow trout. Stinkbaits will work well for catfish. Fishing is reported as good throughout the day, but especially during evenings. This pond was stocked with 500 channel catfish on Sept. 14.

CLEVELAND RESERVOIR: (November 16) Fishing has been steady at Cleveland Reservoir, especially when fishing from a tube or boat. Rainbow trout have been the primary catch for anglers with fast-sinking lines and size 4-8 woolly buggers in black/orange and black/green. Fishing is slower in the late morning, but picks up after noon.

DUCK FORK RESERVOIR: (November 16) Anglers are catching tiger trout up to 20 inches long and cutthroat trout up to 17 inches long. Try using a fast-sinking line with size 6 or 8 bead head soft hackles in green/black, black/red/blue or  lack/copper. Olive leeches with a beadhead have been useful, too. Fishing is best later in the day.

ELECTRIC LAKE: (November 16) Anglers report steady fishing in the evenings at Electric Lake. They’ve had some bites with shiner crankbaits as well as a small CD-7 shiner. Tiger trout were striking on cutthroat-patterned crankbaits.

EMERALD LAKE: (May 26) This pond is inaccessible.

FERRON RESERVOIR: (November 16) Fishing is fair for for rainbows, good for cutthroats and great for brook trout at Ferron Reservoir. Anglers are using medium sinking line and size 6-8 leeches in brown, and a soft hackle in black/orange. The brook trout have been close to the shore in shallow water.

GIGLIOTTI POND: (November 16) Fishing at Gigliotti Pond has been best in the evening hours. Rainbow trout are biting on standard baits such as nightcrawlers and PowerBait. Try using spinners or crankbaits for bass.

HUNTINGTON GAME FARM POND: (November 16) Fishing at Huntington Game Farm Pond has been fair to good, depending on the time of day. The evening hours are usually best. Rainbow trout are biting worms, PowerBait and spinners.

HUNTINGTON NORTH RESERVOIR: (November 16) Worms are effective for catching rainbow trout and channel catfish at Huntington North Reservoir. Trolling with pop gear has also produced results landing rainbow trout. The reservoir was stocked with 3,000 rainbow trout on Sept. 26 and with about 10,000 channel catfish on Sept. 14.

HUNTINGTON RESERVOIR: (November 16) Tiger trout at Huntington Reservoir have been biting various crankbait patterns, as well as size 6-8 buggers and leeches in darker colors. Some of the tiger trout have been up to 19 inches long. As the water cools down, some of the larger fish may start biting more frequently.

JOES VALLEY RESERVOIR: (November 16) Trolling with crankbaits has produced fair results for cutthroats and tiger muskies at Joes Valley. The best fishing has been on the east side, south of the dam, out from the rocky shorelines. Bait fishing has been slow, so try using spoons or crankbaits.

KNIGHT-IDEAL COMMUNITY FISHING POND: (November 16) Anglers have been catching rainbow trout on worms and PowerBait at the Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond. Spinners can also be effective, especially for larger fish in the pond. This pond was stocked with over 2,500 rainbow trout in August.

MILLSITE RESERVOIR & STATE PARK: (December 02) Fishing is fair to good. Rainbow and cutthroat trout are biting in the upper portion of the reservoir. Try using size 8 bead head brown woolly buggers, beadhead olive leeches or beadhead (orange) plum leeches.

SCOFIELD RESERVOIR: (November 16) Scofield was stocked with more than 120,000 tiger trout averaging seven inches last month. Try using silver spoons, Kastmasters, jigs or soft plastics for these. Anglers are also catching chubs on worms and spinners from the shore. As the water cools, try using crankbaits for catching larger cutthroats along the rocky shorelines.
