The Ice Skating Pond is frozen and open for skating at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.  The pond is open Tuesday through Sunday from dawn to 10:00 p.m.  The pond will be closed on Mondays for resurfacing or if there is a safety issue.

Rental Skates are available at Carbon County Recreation located at 751 East 100 North in Price. The cost to rent skates is $5.00 per pair, 2 pair for $8.00. There is also a group rate if you rent 10 or more skates they are only $3.00 per pair.

There will be a free Ice Skating Party on Saturday, January 7 – individuals can reserve skates from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Skates are reserved in one hour time slots so that everyone has a chance to skate.  There will also be free chili and hot chocolate.  Skates must be reserved by Wednesday, January 4 at 5:00 pm.
