Seven Carbon High School wrestlers delivered top eight performances in the weekend’s regional tournament at Juab High School. The payoff for those individuals is a trip to the state championship meet this Friday and Saturday at Utah Valley University in Orem.
Connor Fausett delivered the highest individual finish for the Dinos with a third place nod. The sophomore will enter the state championship tournament with an overall record of 22-7.
Junior Kayden Lee logged a fourth place nod, while both Casey Shiner and AJ Adams ended in fifth. Kayden Gibson, Ryan Madrigal and Triton Abyeta also qualified for the season finale.
Matches for the state tournament will begin on Friday, and continue through Saturday. Below is the complete list of first round matchups for Carbon wrestlers:
