The Emery County Historical Society would like to invite the public to join them to discover a forgotten piece of history on Saturday, May 20.

Individuals are asked to meet at 10:00 am at the Mayor’s Park on State Street in Ferron. It is urged that vehicles have high clearance with a full tank of gas. Guests will need to bring a sack lunch, plenty of water and a lawn chair. In lieu of a sack lunch, iguests may head to nearby Green River to enjoy a burger at Ray’s Tavern.

For those who would like an extended tour, will have an opportunity to visit two other sites after lunch.

The cost for the event is the price of annual dues which is $5.00 per person; the proceeds help to sponsor future events for the society.
