After finishing third place in Region 12 the Carbon Lady Dinos golf team will turn their focus to the season finale at Sleepy Ridge golf course in Orem Wednesday and Thursday for the 3A state championship.

The Lady Dinos will begin day one of the tournament at 9:00 AM on hole 10 when Sam King tees off. Each member of the Carbon golf team is paired with three other girls from different schools. The final group featuring a Carbon golfer will tee-off on hole 10 at 9:50.

This year’s field at the state tournament consists of 16 total schools and only 10 will make the cut heading into the second day. The cut for individuals to advance without their team will also be top 10.

Laini Davis, Jordan Bianco and Aubrey Fausett will lead Carbon into the state finale after finishing inside the top 10 individually during region play. The Lady Dinos participated in a Region 12 meet at Cedar Ridge at the beginning of May, finishing third overall.
