The Helper Nature Journaling group is excited to work with Helper City Library throughout the summer hosting events for children ages 8 years old and adults to discover or rediscover the natural world through a combination of art, writing and science. Parents/Guardians are highly encouraged to participate alongside their child.
The cost for the event includes materials such as sketchbook, drawing pencil and a watercolor set, one watercolor set will be provided per group. The price of a single child or adult is $30.00, single child with an adult is $40.00 and any additional child with adult is $10.00. Registration deadline is Saturday, June 10 along with the fee which is being collected by Helper City Library.
The workshops will be held on Tuesday evenings starting at 7:00 pm till 8:30 pm at the following locations:
June 20 – Helper River Trail
June 27 – Helper City Park
July 18 – Helper City Park
July 25 – Price Canyon Recreation Area
August 22 – Spring Canyon
August 29 – Gigliotti Pond (GIG-LEE-OUGHT-E)
