After a successful 2017 season six different Carbon baseball players received All-Region 12 honors, with three being selected to the first team.

Seniors Gavin Robinett, Jayden Flemmett, and junior Cody Lowe were selected to the Region 12 All-First Team. Seniors Chase Morgan, Kameron Gunter and sophomore Ty Anderson were named to the second team.

Robinett provided a consistent bat for the Dinos throughout the season as he finished with a .317 average and a team best nine doubles. Registering 26 hits and one home run, Robinett also brought in 13 runs.

Flemmett’s 15 RBIs, two home runs and .294 batting average was enough to earn him first team honors. In the field Flemett possessed one of the best gloves in the region as he finished with a .968 fielding percentage and 30 putouts.

Lowe led the team with a .368 batting average, which included 28 hits. During the year he also accumulated a .449 on-base-percentage, and a .605 slugging-percentage.

Second team selection and senior Chase Morgan finished with a 2.62 ERA on the mound, which ultimately led to a 4-1 record. In the box he recorded a .297 batting average to go alone with 12 RBIs and 22 hits.

Gunter posted a team best four triples on his way to a .297 batting average. Logging 19 hits and 18 runs, he also notched seven RBIs and three doubles.

Anderson became known as one of the most consistent fielders in the 3A classification in just his sophomore year. Leading the way with 81 put outs, he finished with a .835 fielding percentage. At the plate Anderson knocked 20 hits, six doubles and 12 RBIs.
