Citizens that will be traveling by or through Peerless Port of Entry this Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10 will notice Carbon County Hazmat Team conducting a Flow Study by stopping traffic traveling through the Port to collect data on what each placarded vehicle is transporting.

Carbon County Hazmat Team is qualified to respond initially to all hazardous material emergencies. However, this study will provide information to mitigate and plan for incidents that have the highest potential of occurring in our communities based on amounts of materials being transported. This study should not impact thru traffic.

Drivers are asked to make the safety of the team on the road their main priority when traveling through the area.
