The Coalition and Parents Empowered better known at CARE is hosting an event for parents and teens on Thursday, June 22 at 6:00 pm at Lin’s Fresh Market parking lot. There will be free hotdogs and refreshments served.

The CARE program is looking to inspire and encourage the youth in our community to practice an alcohol-free summer, as well as, educate parents on how to open the lines of communication with their child when it comes to underage drinking.

The event is based on the Parents Empowered media and education campaign funded by the Utah Legislature designed to prevent and reduce underage drinking in Utah.
