Emery High School’s soccer program will host a three-on-three memorial tournament for Ethan Winter June 16 and 17 at the Huntington Softball Complex.

The tournament will be open for both boys and girls between the ages of third grade through high school. Several divisions have been set up to to accommodate each team, including co-ed. Each division must have at least three team’s in order to function properly. The maximum players per team is five.

The cost to register is just $5.00 per person, and t-shirts to commemorate the event will be sold at registration for $15.00. All teams must be registered by Thursday, June 15 at 8:00 p.m.. Team check in will take place at 4:00 on Friday, and games will begin at 6:00. The tournament will resume Saturday at 9:00 a.m..

Ethan Winter, son of Emery boy’s head coach Troy Winter, passed away November 27, 2016 after a fatal vehicle accident near Consumers Road. Ethan was a standout soccer player, who also place kicked for the football team during his senior season.
