RUCD Head Start is hosting registration for the 2017-2018 school year is currently open for parents in Carbon and Emery counties. Parents may register their child online at www.rucd.org or at any of the three centers -Price, Wellington and Huntington on Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or by appointment. Documents needed for registration is child’s birth certificate (child must be 3 years old by September 1), proof of household income and immunization record.

Parents can visit the Price center at 745 East 200 South, the Wellington site is at 150 West Main Street and Huntington’s center can be found at 745 East 200 South. School will begin in Carbon County on August 23 and in Emery on September 14. The classes are five days a week

Head Start is a federally funded free preschool with free meals for qualified individuals.
