A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house is scheduled for the new Castleview Neurologic Associates on Thursday, July 13 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at their office located at 945 West Hospital Drive, Suite 7. The community is invited to come meet the staff and see what services they will offer.

“Castleview Hospital has been looking for having a full-time neurology service here for some time and has had a neurologist come down from Vernal once a month,” said Dave McOmber, Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. “With Castleview Neurologic Associates I’m a full-time, acute Care Nurse Practitioner with seven years of neurology experience and we are providing neurologic services for the southeastern Utah area.” He completed his Master of Science, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree, as well as his Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education from The University of Michigan-College of Nursing.

General services and treatments will be offered to patients as McOmber explains, “Epilepsy, which is seizures, multiple sclerosis, neurologic dysfunction of various kinds, headaches, migraines, seems to be the one people know about the best.” His strong experience will also aid in treatment in other neurologic ailments like Parkinson’s disease, dementia, pediatric neurology and strokes.

McOmber is looking forward in providing quality care along with his amazing staff.
