The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce has been very busy this summer with several Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for brand new businesses in the area and thankfully it has not slowed down for the month of July.

R&M Digital Advertising held their special event on Tuesday at the sign location on 1850 UT Highway 10. A lot of hard work and determination was put into getting the first digital billboard installed in Price by Ryan and Mandy Peterson, owners and operators. Since the installation of the billboard it has been used by several businesses in town, posted a few birthday wishes, plus it featured the Carbon Boys all-star teams that were headed to their tournaments.  Then Wednesday, July 19 at 4:00 pm at 81 North 200 East Jesse Sloan Plumbing Inc. will have a turn at cutting the red ribbon to signify their new business. Owner, Jesse Sloan, takes pride and stands tall for quality in his work. He recognizes the sacrifices of Military Veterans by offering them a discount on their plumbing needs. East Carbon residents are extremely excited for their ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 20 at 5:00 pm for the new Carbon Medical Service Dental Clinic located at 305 Center Street. The event will officially inaugurate the opening of the fully equipped dental clinic to assist patients with all their dental needs. The clinic will accept major insurance companies and for those patients uninsured, costs of services will be based by their household income on a sliding scale. Finally, to close out the week on Friday, July 21 at 12:00 pm, a ceremony will be held for a brand-new business called The Artz Center located at 91 East Main Street.
