The Miss Carbon County Scholarship Organization will hold their Contestant and Parent Orientation meeting on Saturday, September 9 at the Castleview Hospital South Entrance classroom. participants and parents for Miss Carbon County Outstanding Teen will meet at 1:00 pm and Miss Carbon County will meet at 2:30 pm.
Requirements are for individuals in the outstanding teen category must be 13 to 16 years of age, being 13 years of age before October 28 and not 18 years old on or before July 31. May not have graduated from high school before the start of the Miss America Outstand Teen National Finals, unless approved to graduate early. Current resident of Carbon County for at least six months and enrolled in and attending school full-time in an accredited program including public, private and home schooling.
Miss Carbon County contestants must be a least a high school senior, a current resident of Carbon County and have lived in Utah the last six months or completed at least one semester as a full-time student, which is 12 plus credit hours. Must currently be enrolled and attending classes as a full-time student at USU Eastern. Contestant cannot have been married, have a child and/or convicted of any crime.
The Miss Carbon County Organization is a branch program from the Miss Utah Organization and the Miss America Organization. The program exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women to promote their voices and talent in their community.
