The Helper Rams earned a 29-14 victory over the Mont Harmon Pirates in the first of two meetings this season Wednesday night at Carbon High School.

Using a combination of Davin Moss and Jacob Robertson, the Rams managed to accumulate 240 yards on the ground throughout the contest. While committing just two penalties throughout the game, Helper also won the turnover battle 2-1.

Moss delivered a highly efficient performance recording 164 yards off of 13 carries, while reaching the end zone once. Robertson added another 45 yards on 10 carries to go along with two touchdowns. Quarterback Hayden Tallerico managed the contest well and played turnover free football in the win.

Seventh grader Ridge Nelson helped push the Mont Harmon offense w by recording 46 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Caleb Mitchell hauled in the team’s other score through the air on a 47-yard touchdown reception.

Mont Harmon quarterback Jordan Fossat completed three of five passes for 24 yards, and one interception. The Pirates had multiple turnovers and several penalties halt a variety of promising drives throughout the game.
