5k Run, Walk and Roll:

Active Re-Entery will play host to a 5k run, walk and roll for Independence Saturday, September 23 on Fairground Road in Price.

Free to the community, the 14th annual event accepts donations throughout the day. The proceeds from the event go to support Active Re-Entry Programs. Registration for the 5K will begin at 8:00 A.M., the race will begin shortly after.

Fundraiser Horseshoe Tournament:

Castleview Hospital will raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma with a double-horseshoe fundraiser tournament on Saturday, Sept. 30.

Taking place at Washington Park in Price, the tournament is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m., with registration starting at 12:00. The cost to register is $20.00 per team, plus quarter buckets for ringers.

Monster Mash Golf Tournament:

The Millsite Golf Course will play host to the annual Monster Mash Golf Tournament, Saturday, Oct. 7 beginning at 10:00 a.m..

As the summer continues to fade away, Millsite will offer an exciting four-man scramble tournament that features monsters as pins. Registration is currently open for one of the few remaining tournaments in 2017.

The cost to register is $60.00 per player, and that fee includes lunch, one mulligan, green fees and a cart. Teams can register by calling the course at 435-384-2887.

Fundraiser Softball Tournament:

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Carbon County Recreation will hold a fundraiser co-ed softball tournament in conjunction with the United Way of Eastern Utah’s Live, Love, Local.

The cost to register for the the tournament is $200.00 per team, with each team guaranteed three games in a double-elimination format. The co-ed setting is built around a fun atmosphere, with the objective being to raise money and save lives.
