The Carbon Lady Dinos suffered its third consecutive loss on the soccer field Tuesday afternoon, this time falling to American Leadership Academy 2-1 in overtime at home.

Trailing ALA 1-0 at the end of the first half, Carbon managed to force overtime with a second half goal. ALA’s Sadie Stone found the back of the net in the extra period to give her team their third region victory of the season.

While the Lady Dinos have already secured a playoff berth in the upcoming state tournament, the team now finds itself in sixth place in Region 14. The schedule will get increasingly more difficult for Carbon as they wrap up the regular season with games against Delta and Juab, the top two teams in the division.

The first of those final two regular season games will take place Thursday as the team travels to meet the unbeaten Delta Rabbits. The following Thursday Carbon will host Juab on senior day.
