The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce stopped by Castle Country Radio to discuss the upcoming election for the Chamber Board, as well as, announce the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the newest development in Carbon.
“The chamber has sent out an email to all chamber members letting them know that there is going to be six positions up for re-election, so right now the chamber is taking nominations for any new members to the chamber,” stated Chamber Treasurer, Colleen Loveless. “If you have a nomination that you would like to have for a chamber member, please submit it to the chamber.” The board members will address the nominations during the month of October.
A grand opening is scheduled for Monday, October 9 for the newly constructed Castleview Urgent Care facility, which is located at 317 East 100 North in Price. “On that day we’re going to have a ribbon cutting at 3:00 pm and then the Urgent Care facility will be having an open house to the public, which will be from 4:00 pm till 6:00 pm,” said Loveless. The doors will be open, ready to serve patients on Tuesday, October 10.
The chamber luncheons are held the third Thursdays of every month at 12:00 pm. This month it will be held at the St. Matthew’s Church on 522 North Homestead Boulevard in Price.
