Utah Jazz basketball will return to KOAL 107.3 FM and 750 AM for the 2017-18 season, beginning with the season opener Wednesday night against the Denver Nuggets.

David Locke, radio voice of the Jazz, will call the action for his ninth season, while Boone will team with Locke for the eighth straight season as the radio analyst. Former University of Utah star Britton Johnsen will join Spence Checketts to host the Jazz pregame, halftime and postgame radio shows.

The Zone Sports Network, the exclusive radio home of the Jazz, enters its sixth season broadcasting Jazz games.

The Jazz will once again be apart of Castle Country Radio’s extensive basketball coverage spanning local, regional and national teams. Throughout the basketball season KOAL will feature live broadcasts of Emery High School, USU Eastern and University of Utah basketball.

Wednesday’s contest against the Denver Nuggets is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.. The first week of the season will also feature a Friday matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and a Saturday night game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
