John Jerrold (Jerry) Hickam, 77, passed away peacefully November 2, 2017 at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

He was born January 1, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John and Nettie Belnap Hickam. Jerry married Betty Jean Johnston on February 24, 1962, divorced and later re-married. On November 22, 2002, he married Ronda Cozad
in Clawson, Utah. At the time of his accident, Jerry and Ronda were moving back to Ferron.

Jerry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He honorably served his country in the US Navy. He was a long haul truck driver for most of his career. Jerry loved the outdoors and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He will be dearly missed by his family and a community of friends.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ronda Hickam, Ferron; son, John Hickam, Dover, Maine; daughters, Cindy Nash, Loni (Kevin) Miller, both of Riverton; sister, Juli (Tim) Carli, Salt Lake City; brother-in-law, Emerson Boyd,
Mesquite, NV; granddaughter, Danica McGuire, grandson, Justin (Lori) Orton; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty; and sister, Connie Boyd.

Funeral service, Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 1:00 p.m., Ferron Stake Center where the family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Ferron City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell
