Miss Emery County, along with her royalty court, would like to invite all the children and their families to have Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 2 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. This event will be like an Open House set-up at Miller’s Landing located at 123 North Main Street in Huntington.

“We are going to have a Breakfast with Santa and we want all of the children and everyone from the community to come join,” said Miss Emery County, Collette McElprang. “We are going to have elf dancing, Buddy the Elf will be there with us, there will be lots of good food for breakfast and just a fun morning.” This is the first year to host such an event and the Miss Emery County organization hopes to make this a lasting tradition for many years to come.

All proceeds earned will go to the Children’s Miracle Network, which is a huge non-profit organization that all of the Miss Utah contestants assist with each year. “You but a ticket from the Emery County Royalty it’s at $5.00 and you can also go to www.eventbrite.com and look up Miss Emery County Breakfast with Santa and order it that way or at the door you can come purchase them for $7.00,” stated McElprang. Contestants also attended workshops to prepare for

 

the pageant in June, plus work on other service projects such as the annual shoe drive held in the Spring to assist children in Africa.
