Terry Joe “Spanky” Hansen, age 63, lost a hard fought battle with cancer on December 19, 2017 surrounded by his family.

He was born August 26, 1954 in Price, Utah to Joseph and Golda Smith Hansen.

On August 30, 1975 he married the love of his life Leslie Hansen in Spring Glen. They were married 42 wonderful years.

“Spanky” worked 43 years in various local coal mines. He loved spending time with his boys following and supporting them at every rodeo, sporting event and motocross race they were ever involved in. He was a diehard
Broncos and Earnhardt fan. He was blessed enough to go to a game and watch a race to check these both off his bucket list before he passed. His family and friends meant the world to him. They will always remember his frequent
visits at Walmart. His wife thought he was never coming home, but home with her was where he wanted to be. Terry loved nothing more than to spoil his granddaughters and they will always remember him as the best papa ever. He
will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
