PRICE, UTAH – Utah State Eastern Head Soccer Coach Ammon Bennett announces 17 new players to join his 2018 women’s soccer team.
“We have 17 new players coming in and we couldn’t be more thrilled with them.We were able to meet every position and even add some depth to team,” said Bennett.
All 17 players will join the a Utah State Eastern team that took second in the 2017 Region XVIII tournament last October.
With several key players returning and a fresh crop of new talent, the Eagles should once again challenge for the Region XVIII title.
“Last year we made it to the championship game in the region tournament with a dramatic semi-final shoot out win against Salt lake Community College. We certainly have goals to win the Region and beyond and feel like this group of athletes will help us do this,” said Bennett.
The newest members of the women’s soccer program will join Bennett and the Eagles later this summer for training camp practices and meetings.
