The Carbon Lady Dinos pulled within one game of the region’s top seed with a 72-21 win over Maeser Prep Tuesday evening on the road.
Jordan Bianco led a well balanced offensive performance with 12 points, all of which came from the three-point line, in the win. Abbie Saccomanno and Jodi Noyes both finished with 11, and Kelsey Sorenson notched 10.
Up 46-8 at the end of the first half, the Carbon defense continued to soar as head coach Ted Bianco was able to dig deep into his bench. Carbon easily won each individual quarter, as ten different players scored at least two points.
